How long does it take to manufacture doors
Manufacturing time will usually take between 2 - 3 weeks for plain face doors and 3 - 4 weeks for country doors
Are the doors & panels painted both sides
Plain face doors are only painted on one side while country doors are painted both sides
Are doors manufactured from standard or moisture resistant mdf
All doors are manufactured from moisture resistant mdf
What is the thickness of the doors
plain face doors are usually manufactured from 18 mm with 16 mm available if required
Do you supply hinges
Yes we can supply hinges which are manufactured by hettich
Do you pre drill hinge holes
Yes we can pre drill hinge holes as required
How do I measure doors
Measuring is a simple task just measure the width by the height we recommend measuring the rear face as this does not have any edge profiles to contend with
Can I arrange someone to measure doors
Yes we can come and measure doors within the Sydney metro area.We require the customer to do an initial measure for quote if and when the customer agrees to proceed we will come out and re measure everything .
Do you require a deposit
Yes on acceptance of quote we require a 30% deposit prior to work beginning with balance due on delivery
If I change my mind will you refund the deposit
We will only refund if no work has commenced once work commences no refund will be available
What does standard warranty cover
Standard warranty cover workmanship only
What does your chip and scratch warranty cover
Our scratch and chip warranty covers only accidental damage which can be primed and re sprayed only any additional work will be charged at current rate
Are the doors and panels free of contaminants
while we try and contain contaminants to an absolute minimum we cannot guarantee the doors and panels will be free from all foreign particles

what is milk paint
Milk Paint is a non toxic -fade resistant paint made from milk protein (casein),clay,lime and earth pigments
Do doors need to be clear coated
Yes all doors and panels will be painted with a clear coat to add durability to the product
What clear coat is used
There is a choice between water and solvent based clear coats one may be ,Water based does have a better environment friendly status while in its raw form than the solvent based counterpart but once cured both products are inert and pose no risk to environment the other significant difference is durability with solvent based clear coat have a considerable advantage in this area but the choice remains with the customer.
What is the thickness of the doors
Frames of doors and panels will not exceed 19 mm while molding and raised centre panels will make doors as this as 32 mm
Do you supply hinges
Yes we can and do supply hettich hinges

Yes we can pre drill hinge bores when required

Yes Duric industries has a an independent installer that we can recommend
Warranty on my new kitchen
We give a 10 yr warranty on workmanship of our kitchens with manufacturers warranty on hardware please read scratch and chip warranty for your door warranty
How long do I have to wait once I order my kitchen
Approximately 3 - 4 weeks may be sooner but depends on workload at current time
Is a deposit required
Yes a 30% deposit is required at time of order
Do handles come with my kitchen
We do have a standard selection available that are included but you have the choice for custom handles at additional cost
I would like soft closing draws and doors
Yes we can include soft closing features at additional cost

cabinets are assembled initially using narrow crown staples and secured with screws
Do your cabinets have solid backs
Yes all cabinets have solid 16 mm back fitted with the exception of oven cabinets
What edging do your cabinets have
1 mm pvc edging for melamine carcases all plywood carcasses have victorian ash face frames
Is your shelving adjustable or fixed
All cabinets have adjustable shelves with the exception of pantries which have both Corner pantries come with fixed shelving only
Do you use moisture resistant Board
Yes we use 16 mm HMR melamine and 16 mm hoop pine plywood

Solid surface questions

What is solid surface made of
Solid surface comprises acrylic resin,aluminum tri-hydrate,pigments and stabilizers
Do some colour wear quicker than others
No although dark colour will show scratches easier than light colours
Can I place raw meat or vegetables on the benchtop
Yes because solid surface is a non porous surface bacteria and germs cannot accumulate and are easily cleaned
Can I purchase solid surface sheets and fit it my self
NO any solid surface top purchased from Duric Industries must and will be installed by Duric Industries so that all relevant warranties apply to your purchase
What finishes are available with solid surface
You can choose from matt ,satin , gloss finishes although we recommend satin in your kitchen
"Can hot pans damage solid surface
Hot pans can damage the surface but in most cases it can be repaired the best way to avoid damage is to use heat pad or trivet
How do I clean my solid surface tops
Because Lg Himacs is a non porous surface you can clean the solid surface using a damp cloth and mild detergents , also by using scotchbrite pad you are also constantly polishing your top
